Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. I ask You to forgive me of my sins so that I might have peace with God and experience eternal life in heaven. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be in accordance with Scripture and in imitation of Christ in whose name we pray.

Father, with my whole heart I have sought You and made You my Lord and Savior. I have turned my eyes away from worthless things so that my life is preserved here and now and for all eternity. Father, You have shown the greatest example of what it is to be rich toward us in countless ways, but most especially when You gave Your only Son to be our Savior. You extended to us full forgiveness when we could do nothing to earn it. May we likewise be rich toward You giving ourselves fully in love, obedience, in our resources, and in loving others as we love ourselves. Rather than seeking first a comfortable and secure life here on earth, help us to remember that will come to us in heaven. Father, citizenship affords many accommodations and provisions as well as their national identity. Most of us take our citizenship for granted since it comes to us when we’re naturally born into a particular country. But when we are born again we become citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives…for our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we come to You in prayer. Amen.
