Father, the example of Hezekiah reminds us that doing our work diligently and honestly is pleasing in Your sight. We are to seek You wholeheartedly as we carry out our responsibilities, whether it is at work or at home. In our temporal earthy dwelling we want to apply eternal kingdom principles in all we do and say rather than possessing a complaining, discontent demeanor. As we are faithful in pursuing righteousness and spreading peace and joy You prosper us in our family relations, our places of employment, our relationships, and in our financial endeavors.  We thank You for Your blessings in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, our generation seeks more and more knowledge all the while exercising less and less restraint toward sins that grieve Your heart. In our information age knowledge is promoted as the key to success, fulfillment, happiness and financial security and yet we see so many educated people lacking in these areas. While higher education is important, godly wisdom and biblical understanding are the foundational tools by which we accept or reject current philosophies, basic principles, human traditions, and the practices of our day. Your Word helps us to interpret knowledge that is ever changing so that we are careful to build our foundation upon You, the unchanging Solid Rock. Any other foundation will sink when the rain falls, the streams rise, and the assaulting winds blow and beat against that which we have worked so hard to build.  We choose to love You and have a healthy fear of going against Your prescribed will for our lives. Amen.

We must doubt no more but fully trust You on the merit of the blood given for us through the death of Your Son, Jesus. We confess our brokenness and celebrate Your wholeness as we serve You and transfer our citizenship to Your kingdom that is eternal.

There are bright, clear days in which we feel on top of the world, and there are dark, cold days when we feel our world has come to a halt. But we are encouraged as we look to Your powerful Word that reminds us You are our loving God who sustains us in the variables of our daily circumstances. Because of that we can trust You even in the extremes of life. We thank You in the powerful name of Jesus who is Your exact representation on earth. Amen.

Father God, we receive Your Holy Word through faith to be the very words You want to speak to us.  You used ordinary men who followed an extraordinary Savior to communicate to us that which You want us to read and to live by.  It is a living book that shows us through history those who have walked the path before us.  It is an instruction manual revealing the way we are to live.  And it is a book of unending hope where miracles unfold, lives are restored, sins are forgiven and heaven is waiting for those who earnestly follow Christ. Thank You for Your Scriptures, Your vital urgent Word that is like a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.  Amen.
